About Us

Raaf Equipment Company was established in September 1983 by Roger Raaf. The primary goal was to specialize in selling used asphalt plants, asphalt plant components, and asphalt & concrete paving equipment.

Prior experience from 1971 to 1983 was being a pilot and sales trainee to Sales Manager for an established Asphalt & Concrete equipment dealer. This experience led to flying asphalt plant technicians throughout Midwestern United States & Canada to set up new and used asphalt plants, to calibrate asphalt plants, or correct asphalt plant operating problems. This on the job field experience gave me the technical background to make sound judgments as to the value and condition of asphalt equipment.

The years of experience have established many friendships with contractors throughout the United States and Canada, Mexico, South America, Philippines, and Germany. It has been a great pleasure, thanks to the wonderful people in the construction industry.
